A warm spring is reported in Sec. 23, Tl3N, R29E, about 11 km east of Schurz (Stearns and others, 1937). The spring is accompanied by a well, which serves a cattle trough. In April 2006, the spring was sampled and had a temperature of 12°C, while the well temperature was 14°C.
