In a group of 33 temperature-gradient drill holes drilled near the southern end of Dixie Valley, two 610 m holes have bottom-hole temperatures of 77.7-81.7ºC (Richards and Blackwell, 2002; GeothermEx, 2004). Location: 39.42ºN, 118.24ºW.
