Hot springs in SE¼SE¼ Sec. 4, T43N, R55E have a reported temperature of 54°C (Mariner and others, 1974). About 3.2 km to the southwest, near the small community of Wild Horse, a water well has 20.6°C at 85 m. The well was drilled in an area that is reported to remain snow free in winter.
