Moorman Spring (updated 2006)

Moorman Spring, located in C N½SE¼ Sec. 32, T9N, R61E, in White River Valley, is in the vicinity of a number of Late Quaternary faults that are found along the axis of the valley (Sawyer, 1998). The highest temperature reported is 37.8 ºC. Emigrant Springs, located about 5 km to the northeast, is only 21.1ºC (Garside and Schilling, 1979). Those springs are apparently associated with a Late Quaternary fault at the foot of the Egan Range.
