Twelvemile Spring (NW¼ NE¼ NE¼ Sec. 27, T39N, R62E) is in Bishop Canyon, along Bishop Creek. The spring is 38.8°C (Waring, 1965) with a flow rate of 11,500 L/min (Reed and others, 1983, p. 39). Its flow mixes with Bishop Creek, which is used for irrigation. A cement swimming pool is present, and both cold and hot water flow into it. No major fault is known to be present at the site of this spring.
