The Mackay School of Earth Sciences and Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno is pleased to offer an exceptional commemorative medallion in celebration of our 100th anniversary. The Mackay Commemorative one troy-ounce medallion is .999 fine silver, mined from the Coeur Rochester Mine in Pershing County, Nevada and minted at the Carson City Mint. Each medallion is numbered and carries the distinctive “CC” mark on the front.
The Mackay School of Mines was dedicated on June 10, 1908 and for 100 years has earned an international reputation as a leader in the mineral and earth sciences.
