Appendix_1 – Geochemical data on mafic rocks in Nevada.

Navdat_mafic – Geochemical analyses and reference information for mafic rocks in Nevada pulled from the NAVDAT database.

Petros_mafic - Geochemical analyses and reference information for mafic rocks in Nevada and California pulled from the Petros database.

Petros_mafic_simplified – Same and petros_mafic but only containing geochemical analyses.

Petros_navdat_mafic_references – Source references for analyses in navdat_mafic and petros_mafic files.


Appendix 2 – Calculated normative mineral compositions of mafic rocks in Nevada.

Mafic_rocks_CIPW_olivine_greater_than_10_percent – Contains only those calculated CIPW norms (from navdat_CIPW_norms and petros_CIPW_norms in Appendix 1) with normative olivine greater than 10%.
Major_element_geochemical_trends – Contains data and plots for samples with normative olivine greater than 10% in Nevada. Bas_loc_tab contains the geochemical data separated by region. The rest of the tabs contain plots of various major elements.
Navdat_CIPW_norms – CIPW norms calculated from geochemical data in navdat_mafic file.
Petros_CIPW_norms – CIPW norms calculated from geochemical data in petros_mafic file.


Appendix 3 – Calculated volumes of mafic rocks in Nevada.

Presented for each area discussed in the report. Volumes calculated based on contoured thickness for all except for Clark (calculated for several average thicknesses) and Reveille_pancake (calculated area only, volume estimates already exist).
