This site was located ~ 0.5 mile south of Frank Helen Canyon in Buffalo Valley. Buffalo Valley is located SouthWest of Battle Mountain; site location is 11T 4477928N/461261E using NAD27. The temperature of the spring was 12.6, at time of sampling. The water is coming out of hillside through a rusty pipe. This is picture 1/2. As of 2006, ORMAT Nevada Inc. had submitted applications to drill ten temperature gradient wells and four observation wells in Buffalo Valley Secs. 22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 34, and 35 of T29N, R41E.
