Data that may be useful in the evaluation of petroleum potential are displayed on a 1:1,000,000-scale map of Nevada. These include: petroleum exploration and production wells, shows in wells, seeps and related features, outcrops of potential source rocks, and Conodont Coloration Alteration Indices (CAI) from rock samples.
