This Coin Number 001, which is the official fifty millionth ounce, has been donated to the W.M. Keck Museum at the Mackay School of Mines, University of Nevada, Reno, by the mines on the Carlin trend (Newmont Mining Corporation, Barrick Goldstrike Mines, Inc., and Glamis Gold, Ltd.).
